Arna Seal is a Gender, Child Rights, Education and Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist, Author and Lyricist. She holds a Ph.D in Sociology from Tulane University, Louisiana, USA. Dr. Seal has 30 years of combined professional experience working across India and as well as in the United States. In education, her experience spans across both formal and informal sectors involving K-12 school set-up and program activation, curriculum-building, teacher education and monitoring and evaluation covering children in the margins to those in realms of privilege in urban, peri-urban and rural geographies. Dr. Seal works and collaborates extensively with Academic and Government organizations, INGOs, NGOS, and international funding organizations both independently and as part of a team of experts. She is both a certified Therapeutic Storyteller and a Gender Sensitization, Diversity and Inclusion and POSH Trainer.
In the online space, Ms. Seal imparts foundational literacy and communication training to Early Childhood learners (Grades 1-6) both in India and the United states, using the storytelling narrative form in play-way teaching and learning.
