An Electrical Engineer from Jadavpur University and having more than a decade of corporate experience in the field of electrical equipment manufacturing, marketing, strategy and projects. With an objective of working in the field of education and rural development, leaving behind his corporate life, he is now focused on teaching mathematics to students both in rural and urban areas. In addition to that he is involved in rural development through education & training sessions for villagers. Worked with Teach for India (TFI, An NGO for Educating under privileged students) as a teacher and mentor for community development while working with slumdwellers of Malvani area, Mumbai. Also conducted workshop with Juvenile children group in David Sassoon Children Home, Mumbai and Tribal development projects in Maharashtra and some parts of West Bengal. Worked with Landmark Education Worldwide as a Coach of Leadership projects.

Overall Shounak De has a teaching experience spanning two decades in mathematics and academic mentoring. Students under his guidance established in academics in foreign universities & in corporate sectors.

Shounak De believes in holistic approach to educate a student. Being an Alma mater of RKMV Narendrapur & St Xavier’s College Kolkata and mentored by teacher like Dr Debasis Barman & Landmark Education, An Alternative Education learning space, he is trained to be a passionate and creative Mathematics Teacher & Life Coach.  He is more a mentor of alternative learning space who transforms students by teaching mathematics. He is now 42 years old and dedicated his life in upbringing underprivileged students.
